Micro needling with Advanced serum

Microneedling with advanced serums combines the benefits of microneedling with the enhanced delivery of specialized serums into the skin.

The use of advanced serums during microneedling boosts the skin-rejuvenating effects of the treatment. These serums often contain potent ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins, and antioxidants, which can help hydrate the skin, promote collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and enhance overall skin health.

5. How often should I do micro-needling? How many treatments will I need?
Microneedling is based on the damage and healing of your skin, therefore, we recommend every 4–6 weeks.
For collagen induction, you will require at least 3 treatments. Scar reduction requires between 3 and 6. 4–6 weeks should pass between one treatment and the next.
6. What is the downtime after Micro-Needling treatment?

The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish, which may last for 12 to 48 hours.

To reduce visible redness, we recommend hyaluronic acid after the procedure, and to protect the skin with zinc-based sunblock.

7. WHAT DO I LOOK AFTER THE TREATMENT?

Immediately following the treatment you will look red, resembling moderate sunburn, mild swelling as mild sunburn for 24–48 hours and there may be minimal pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Within a week or two, you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking, but the full effects won’t be seen until a few months later.

The skin will feel warm and slightly tight. This will normally reduce within the same day, with only slight redness the following day. You can return to most normal activities that day.

8. DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?

Yes.
This is a very important part of the treatment, both for you and for us. It is an opportunity to ask us any questions and discuss any concerns, and we in turn will take time to fully explain the treatment, what it entails and if the treatment is suitable for you.

You will also be advised how many treatments are recommended for the specific skin concerns you have.

The treatment can be carried out anywhere on the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.

10. Is Medical Micro-Needling painful?

Before the treatment, numbing cream can be applied to minimize the pain that is felt during the procedure.

11. HOW DOES IT WORK?

The micro channels cause keratinocytes and fibroblasts to produce numerous growth factors to induce collagen and elastin production, which in turn generate new skin cells to repair themselves.

Blood supply is also enhanced without leaving any damage to the epidermis at all. Over the following weeks the skin becomes thicker, plumper and more youthful.

12. Am I a candidate for Micro-Needling?

There is minimal risk of pigment change or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Skin micro-needling can treat sensitive and fragile areas that are difficult to treat with other procedures. These areas include the eyes, the neck, and the back of the hands.

However, it is not suitable for patients who:
